The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, but what do you do if the Lord orders your steps into problems? You know, Jesus was baptized by John, the Holy Spirit came visibly upon Jesus, and a voice came out of nowhere when God confirmed that “this is my Son.”
But the same Holy Spirit led Jesus into the desert the next day, straight into problems, trials and temptations. Sometimes when you are on the way to Jerusalem you have to take the path through the desert. But if the Holy Spirit leads you into the desert, then he can also lead you out of the desert. The Holy Spirit always has a purpose. He comes to help you, teach you, comfort you and to give you strength. Your steps are ordered by God and he doesn’t lead you into the desert if there isn’t also a purpose for it, and even if you are alone, you aren’t on your own. While you are pushing through the trial, the angels are on their way.
I know that you are pushing through, we are pushing through, in Christ you are more than a conqueror, you are a victor, even when it feels like you are down for the count. That is why the Bible says about you, “let the weak say I am strong.”
Good morning,
Tommy
