Good Morning!
I’m finally back home again. I arrived late on Friday and then got up early on Saturday to speak at a conference. To my surprise, so many people showed up that many of them had to be seated in the adjoining halls. Carina had gone directly to the hospital for a check-up, and God blessed me because on my way back from the conference I was able to pick her up from the hospital and finally bring her back home with me.
You know, sometimes you need one at each corner! Do you remember the lame man? He could pray, and he knew what he wanted, but he was so sick that he couldn’t move. But he had four brothers. When he was weak, they carried him, one at each corner. That’s why it is so important that you and I pray for each other. Because sometimes the storm that hits you is so severe that you become paralyzed. But thanks be to God, we are not alone in the battle.
You have one at each corner. When you are weak, we will carry you. Jesus is at one corner, praying for you in heaven that your faith will endure. The Holy Spirit is praying for you with groaning, and I’m praying for you every morning. When you are weak, you have me at one of your corners.
This week? Well, I have been traveling for more than 4 weeks, including Israel, Zambia and Malta. So I have some gardening work to catch up on, and of course I will be supporting my wife as she recovers.
One of the best things about coming home is my wife’s cooking. I tell you, it’s just great! You know, I have dined in the heart of Africa, eaten food in the jungle, I’ve eaten at fancy restaurants and fast food chains all over the world, but nothing can compare to Carina’s cooking.
But – I won’t be able to support her at that corner! Since the day I put cinnamon in the spaghetti, my family has banned me from doing anything that has to do with cooking!
Good Morning!
Yours sincerely,
Tommy
