Good morning!
How are you? I hope you are doing well. Monday mornings are special for me, since if I’m not traveling then it’s the day I’m not in office. I always wake up at 5 in the morning, and after prayer time, I go to the gym around 7 and then come back at 8:30 for breakfast. So that’s what my day will be like today. Breakfast with my beloved Carina and then I will work on some ministry things and do some gardening. We live in a house just 300 yards from the the coast.
I recently finished teaching a series on the subject: The land in-between is not your land. You know, you can get stuck between Egypt and the promised land. God gave me a word for you about that today.
The land in-between is not your land. When Israel left Egypt, saved by the blood of the lamb on the doorpost and baptized in the Red Sea, they met God at the foot of Mount Sinai. Despite all that God had done for them, many of them got stuck in the desert. There were many reasons for this. In fact, there are many Christians today who are stuck there – in the land in-between. Many of them are tired, others disappointed, still others who are longing for the pots of meat back in Egypt. But you are on your way to the promised land! Yes, I know that it feels like things move slowly at times, and that is why the Lord wants to encourage you now. The land that is flowing with milk and honey is right in front of you. The Lord has more for you. On the way there he has promised that – no one who has left everything for the sake of the kingdom of God will fail to receive many times as much in this age. Leaving Egypt to live for Jesus is win-win, and Jesus wants to help you win every time, even when things look their darkest.
Good morning from Pastor Tommy
