Good morning,
New Age, Hinduism, Islam and Buddhism. They are all alternative paths that claim to provide answers and spiritual power, but each of them has led people further and further away from the truth, besides leading to destructive societies. The western world is not the developed world because those of us who live here are smarter, less destructive or better in any way. Instead, the difference is that Jesus, for centuries, has been the value system and foundation for the development of our societies. Despite all the mistakes, abuses and wars that have characterized the western world, the message of the Gospel has still had the chance to permeate our culture so much so that – compared to other cultures – a more humane society has been able to emerge. Whoever would claim something different is lying or is blind to the truth.
